Here are brief descriptions of the charities that your ticket donation will enable an underpriviledged child an opportunity to attend a SI Yankees baseball game:

120th Precinct Community Council

The 120th Precinct Community Council is a charitable organization that reaches out to underprivileged children within the North Shore area. Their mission is to provide fun and safe activities and therefore, off the streets.

One of their major programs is a summer camp which is held during the months of july and August. Over one-hundred disadvantaged children benefit from this camp each year.

Boy Scouts of America

· The mission of the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America is to serve society by helping to instill values in young people, and in other ways to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime and to achieve their full potential.


Each day they help young boys and girls to build self-confidence, to learn new skills and teamwork, and to work towards developing a successful future.

Community Health Action


The Community Health Action of Staten Island is a non for profit community organization that educates Staten Islanders about HIV and AIDS along with advocating for HIV-positive people.

Not only do they provide support to Staten Islanders living with the disease but they work to secure the needs of their families as well. Currently, they serve about 400 HIV-positive and 75 at-risk persons and their families.

Seamen’s Social for Children and Families

The Seamen’s Social for Children and Families spearhead many programs for children and families. Their foster care and adoption services aim to remove children from hostile and dangerous environments and place them in a licensed foster home.

From there, the Seamen’s Society strives to place the child with a relative, such as a grandparent or aunt works to have them return home as soon as possible. Last year alone, the Seaman’s Society cared for more than 700 foster children and their families.
